'Potentially Lethal' Traces Of Propofol - revealed by Michael Jackson's autopsy

The second autopsy carried out on Michael Jackson's body found needle marks and traces of a potentially lethal amount of Propofol in the singer's system, according to unconfirmed reports. The results of the autopsy requested by the Jackson family two days after the star's death on June 25 are “consistent” with those of the examination carried out by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office a day earlier, a source tells E!Online.com.
The results are not expected to be made public for another week due to the on-going investigation into Jackson's death, however, it has been widely speculated he died after being given Propofol, a powerful sedative that should only be used in hospitals.
Investigators are said to have been interested in the singer's live-in physician Dr Conrad Murray - who was at Jackson's Los Angeles home when he went into cardiac arrest - and other doctors who prescribed and administered drugs to Jackson over the years

Michael Jackson’s youngest son thinks his father is on holiday

Michael Jackson’s youngest son thinks his father is on holiday.

Prince Michael II, also known as ‘Blanket’, doesn’t realise his singer dad died last month and was left confused after the ‘Thriller’ star’s memorial service in Los Angeles.

Mark Lester - who is godfather to Michael’s three children, Prince Michael I, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old ‘Blanket’ - told Hello! magazine: “It is obvious to me that Blanket is still unsure about what exactly happened to his father. He said, ‘Where’s daddy gone? On holiday?’ It was a rhetorical question and it broke my heart.

“Prince was taciturn, unusual for him, but we still had a hug. Paris gave me a tight hug and we just held each other for a while. We were both welling up. I told her that her dad would always lie in her heart and be remembered by at least half of the world. Paris replied, ‘I’m just glad he is at peace.’ ”

British actor Mark, who rose to fame as a child star in movie musical ‘Oliver!’, also revealed his three godchildren - who are currently being looked after by Michael’s mother Katherine Jackson, who has temporary custody of them - have begged to spend this Christmas with him and his family.

He said: “Paris was disappointed my daughters couldn’t come to the memorial. She asked me, ‘Can we come and stay with you at Christmas and I can bring the presents?’

“I was very touched and still hope it can be arranged. It’s difficult to say until the custody arrangements have been finalised.”

Mark, who is planning to attend the service when Michael’s body is buried, also insisted Prince Michael I and Paris have no relationship with their biological mother, Michael’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe.

The 50-year-old star explained: “The children don’t know her and haven’t seen her for years. The possibility the three children might be split up - ‘Blanket’, of course, is by another mother - is unthinkable and I believe it would be disastrous for them.”

Meanwhile, Michael’s father Joe Jackson has denied beating his son when he was growing up.

When asked about allegations he physically harmed Michael as a child, Joe told US TV talk show host Larry King: “That is a bunch of bull. That is not true. I never have. I raised him just like you would raise your kids. Why would I harm Michael? He was my son and I loved him. I still love him.”

It was recently alleged Michael was left sterile and unable to have children after Joe kicked him in the testicles when he younger.

Jackson's brother Tito acuse Dr Conrad Murray

Several members of the Jackson family have pointed the finger of blame for Michael Jackson's death firmly in the direction of his live-in doctor.

Jackson's brother Tito has questioned the actions of Dr Conrad Murray - who was at Jackson's Los Angeles home when he suffered a fatal cardiac arrest – and speculated that the cardiologist's failure to act quickly may have cost his brother his life.

It's been reported that Murray waited half-an-hour before dialling 911 after finding the pop legend unconscious because, he claimed, he was unsure of his employer's exact address.

“My opinion is that he panicked when my brother didnt wake up,” Tito said.

“I think the doctor probably figured he was in trouble and he tried to revive Michael. He did have a pulse but he couldnt bring him back.

“I dont know what the time lapse was between the doctor finding him and when he called paramedics.

“But I believe if he had immediately called for help we might still have my brother here today, he would definitely still be alive.

“Tito also accused Dr Murray of not carrying out proper resuscitation methods. It has been claimed the medic did cardiac massage on the dying star as he lay on a soft bed instead of a hard surface the accepted practice.”

Tito also expressed concern about Dr Murray's fruitless attempts to resuscitate Jackson.

He added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: “The CPR attempt is one of the things I noticed that was very strange.

“CPR is one of the first things you learn to do as a doctor, and you dont do it on a soft bed. And Tito also accused Dr Murray of disappearing in the wake of Jackos death. He said: Im not sure if he went with Michael to the hospital.”

Meanwhile, his brother Jermaine has also been left questioning Murray's role in the singer's tragic death.

"A doctor is supposed to keep someone healthy - but Michael went from good health to death in the space of one day," he said.

Speaking about the moment he first met Murray, he recalled: "The first time I met Dr Murray was at the hospital.

"I didn't feel good when I saw him because I felt that if he was a doctor, why was Michael not here? Why was Michael dead?"

Jackson's sister La Toya also says the behaviour of Murray immediately after Jackson's death has left her deeply troubled and with unanswered questions.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, she says she approached him in the hospital and asked what had happened and he just "mumbled a bunch of nothing."

She said: "He said something like, 'Michael didn’t make it, I’m sorry.' It wasn’t right. It felt weird."

Murray has maintained, through his lawyer, that he did not administer any drugs to the singer that may have resulted in his death.

Jackson's family are still awaiting the results of his autopsy which were expected to be released last week, but have been delayed by two weeks.

A New Fight for custody of Michael Jackson's kids

Michael Jackson’s doctor is set to seek custody of his two eldest children.
Dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein has reportedly told pals he is the father of Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, and is ready to take responsibility for them.
A source said: “Arnold is planning to fight for custody of Prince Michael and Paris. He says he can prove he is there father.
“Arnold has told his close friends he is Prince Michael and Paris’ father for years, while never giving a straight answer in public.
“He says he was paid nothing for the sperm but was paid for keeping the information confidential.”
Speculation has been rife that Arnold is the biological dad of the children since Michael passed away from a suspected cardiac arrest last month.
Arnold - who was the boss of nurse Debbie Rowe, Michael’s ex-wife and the mother of the two children, when she met the late pop icon - has failed to deny the claims outright.
Speaking on US TV show ‘Good Morning America’ earlier this month, he said: “I can’t say anything about it, but to the best of my knowledge, I am not the father of these children.
“I can’t answer it in any other way. I don’t want to feed any of this insanity that’s going around.”
Speaking on another TV programme, Klein admitted he had donated semen to a sperm bank but claimed to be unaware if Michael had used it to father Prince Michael and Paris.
Michael is said to have asked Arnold to father the children because he was so impressed with how intelligent he was.
The source added to Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper: “Arnold is brilliantly clever. He has a photographic memory and instant recall.”
Michael’s mother Katherine Jackson currently has temporary custody of Prince Michael, Paris and Michael’s youngest son seven-year-old Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket.
A custody hearing was due to take place on Friday (17.07.09) but has been postponed until August 3.
Katherine is seeking full custody of the children, but her lawyers are believed to be discussing the matter with Debbie, who is understood to want access to Prince Michael and Paris.
Meanwhile, it has been claimed Michael’s death could soon become a murder investigation.
Los Angeles police have reportedly already told Michael’s family - including sister La Toya, who recently insisted Michael had been murdered - they will be pressing charges imminently, which could lead to a trial.
Friend of the Jackson family Terry Harvey told Britain’s News of the World newspaper: “The autopsy shows that Michael died of a drug overdose with Diprivan and a range of pills in his stomach. He had needle marks on his neck and all over his body.
“The authorities have told the family the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) are pushing for a criminal charge.
“It is likely to be second-degree murder, due to the actions which led to his death. They have been assured that someone, or maybe more than one person, will be brought to trial.
“The family are working with the DEA and Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) to work out which doctor prescribed Michael these drugs and how far back this serious problem runs.”
Diprivan is also known as Propofol, and is used to put people to sleep before surgery.
Terry also claims the Jackson Family may sue concert promoters AEG - who were behind Michael’s comeback shows in London - for “wrongful death”.
Referring to Michael’s father Joe, Terry said: “Joe Jackson has made no secret of his efforts to step in to get Michael to rehab while he prepared for his London shows. The question is how much did the concert organisers know about his drug problems and who was feeding him the drugs?
“I can see Joe filing a lawsuit against anyone who is found to have caused fatal harm to his beloved son. ”

The 7 Secrets of Michael Jackson

A warehouse in New Jersey is holding a incredible treasure - Michael Jackson's inheritance!

Inside the warehouse, dozens of dusty boxes are chaotically stacked upon one another. For years no one has taken any notice of them but they contain almost 500 items which belonged to the King of Pop.
Each item tells a story and some throw light on mysteries which have puzzled fans for decades.

Unheard tracks
In an temperature-controlled sound room lie master copies of 26 unreleased songs by the Jackson 5.

Platinum records
A platinum disc for his single ‘I’ll Be There’ which sold three million records – a real collectable!

• Jacko’s library
Lots of comics and illustrated books, many showing pre-pubescent boys.

• Self-portraits
Jacko painted himself as a clown crying and laughing. Other sketches show a face in which the large nose got smaller and smaller in each picture – a plan for his plastic surgery operations perhaps?

• The letter in which Jacko dumped Lisa Marie Presley
Three pages of careful handwriting like that of a small child. Michael wanted a divorce just one year into the marriage, for the astonishing reason: “I already have a Muslim wife.” Her name was An Khesena men.

• Whitening Cream
The tube of Eldopaque-Forte had been opened but the cap was stuck. Jacko always said that he suffered from a skin condition which made him paler.

• Personal photos
There are almost 15,000 shots. Some are of him smiling backstage during his Victory Tour in 1984, one is of him as a small boy bathing with his dad. Others are from family holidays.

Michael Jackson's will
Part of the will left by the King of Pop

The invaluable objects belong to a New York landlord. He was given them after a legal argument with the Jacksons and he wants to sell them to the highest bidder for an estimated $5 million.

Paul McCartney Citi Field set list

Paul McCartney played Citi Field 44 years after the Beatles first played Shea
Paul McCartney came to Citi Field on Friday night to bring a new ballpark one thing that can’t be built in: memories. No one was better qualified.
As a 23-year-old Beatle, Mr. McCartney introduced rock to a stadium audience on August 15, 1965, when the Beatles played a 34-minute set at Shea Stadium, which Citi Field replaced. The Beatles returned to Shea in 1966 on what would be their last tour.

Mr. McCartney was also at the final concert at Shea Stadium, joining the headliner, Billy Joel, on stage last year. Mr. Joel returned the favor on Friday night, singing, whooping and splashing piano chords in “I Saw Her Standing There.” In case the Mets weren’t enough, now Citi Field has musical continuity.

On Friday night, Mr. McCartney reminisced about 1965, imitating the muffled and distorted sound the Beatles got through the old stadium’s P.A. system, which by all accounts was drowned out by screaming girls. (Nearly 44 years later, somewhat older women seized their cue to scream.)

He also had other memories: of his fellow Beatles John Lennon, to whom he dedicated his memorial song, “Here Today,” and George Harrison, who had given him the ukulele he used to play Mr. Harrison’s song “Something.” He dedicated the ballad “My Love” to his late wife Linda, who sang with Mr. McCartney’s band Wings in the 1970s; she was part of the video backdrop when Mr. McCartney played “Band on the Run.”

The Citi Field audience brought its own memories: Beatles T-shirts and talismans, held aloft to soak up the occasion. When Mr. McCartney sang Beatles songs, in arrangements that nearly replicated the studio versions, there were loud, fond sing-alongs.

But Mr. McCartney wasn’t fixated on looking back. Although he has enough hits to fill his two-and-a-half-hour set with oldies from Wings, the Beatles and his solo albums, he chose to stay current as well, stumping the nostalgia crowd with songs from the album he released in 2008 as the Fireman, “Electric Arguments.” At 67, he is still a vigorous musician: writing tuneful and wily songs, playing assorted instruments, crooning his ballads ardently, hitting the high notes and howling like a rock and roller.

The presentation at Citi Field was a far cry from 1965.
Of course, Mr. McCartney wasn’t about to return to the primitive conditions of a 1965 Beatles show, when the band performed isolated on an empty ballfield with fans far away in the stands. (There was field seating, on covered turf, along with the stands at Citi Field.) Stadium concerts have evolved mightily, and Mr. McCartney had all the paraphernalia to make his music fill the stadium as the sound and image of the Beatles could not (which didn’t make the Beatles concerts any less exciting). Video screens rendered Mr. McCartney visible to the upper decks, and they illustrated songs like “Back in the U.S.S.R.” (with old images of Russia) and “Got to Get You Into My Life” (with the computer-animated Beatles from the video game “The Beatles: Rock Band”). Flash pots and fireworks blazed to underline the explosive transitions of “Live and Let Die.”

As always, Mr. McCartney was boyish onstage, making faces and tousling and re-tousling his hair. His genial and straightforward presence made some of his songs even more enigmatic, like “Jet,” “Helter Skelter,” “Flaming Pie” (the title song of Mr. McCartney’s 1997 album) and “Mrs. Vandebilt” (a song he resurrected from the Wings album “Band on the Run”).

Mr. McCartney performs like a musician cheerfully doing his job. He made no fuss over how many paths he opened with the Beatles and how much he can do. At Citi Field, the delicacy of “Yesterday” and “Blackbird,” the near-gospel of “Hey Jude,” the mandolin-strumming skiffle of “Dance Tonight,” the quasi-classical string parts of “Eleanor Rigby” (digitally simulated) and the lusty blues-rock of “Let Me Roll It” were all part of Mr. McCartney’s music, and all performed neatly and deftly. Mr. McCartney keeps his songs familiar; his band members barely deviated from the solos played by the Beatles and Wings. So when Mr. McCartney did make changes, they were striking — particularly when he segued from the middle of “A Day in the Life” into “Give Peace a Chance,” with a peace sign on the video screen and the crowd raising two-fingered V-signs while singing along.

When Mr. McCartney and the Beatles played Shea Stadium in the 1960’s, they were brash young rockers. It was before the orchestral ambition of “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” or the introspection and style-hopping of “The Beatles” (known as the white album), with songs the Beatles themselves would only perform in the studio, though Mr. McCartney has taken them on tour. It was before Mr. McCartney’s songs became something parents introduced to children and grandchildren. And it was before Mr. McCartney had another four decades of experience, losses and memories to sing about, in a stadium that awaits history of its own.

Redskins Select Jeremy Jarmon in Supplemental Draft

Kentucky defensive end Jeremy Jarmon was picked by the Redskins in the supplemental draft today. There was some speculation that the Lions were considering taking him, but based on the fact that Washington ended up selecting him in the third round, it's pretty obvious that the Lions weren't willing to part with that high of a pick.

The way the supplemental draft works is that teams tell the NFL if they want to select a player, along with what round they want to pick him in. The highest "bidder" gets the player and has to forfeit a pick in that round in the 2010 draft. Since the Redskins ended up with Jarmon, they will lose their third-round selection next April. The Lions may have informed the NFL that they wanted Jarmon, but only a third-round pick would have brought him to Detroit.
Ernie Sims returned to Tallahassee last week to host a football and cheerleading camp for kids. Some Lions players attended the camp to help out Sims, including Kevin Smith, who talked about the event in his latest blog post.
As Kevin Seifert points out, the Titans went 4-0 against the AFC North last regular season. This season the NFC North matches up against the AFC North, which hopefully will give the Lions somewhat of an edge by having Jim Schwartz.
Roy Williams has decided to keep his mouth shut for a change and just worry about playing football.
The NFL Network is going to show every preseason game in HD, starting with the Lions-Falcons game on August 15.

Jakarta Blast: 9 Killed At 2 Hotels In Indonesian Capital

At least nine people have been killed and 50 injured in two separate explosions at western-owned hotels in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
The blasts, which appeared co-ordinated, occurred virtually simultaneously, at the JW Marriott and the Ritz-Carlton hotels in central Jakarta at around 8am.
A car bomb also exploded along a toll road in North Jakarta, police said, where it is thought two people were killed.
South Jakarta Police Chief Firman Santyabudi confirmed the explosions had occured at both the luxury hotels in the upmarket neighbourhood of Kuningan, an area popular with foreigners and Indonesians, with many bars, offices and embassies.
“There were explosions heard from two separate places, one the JW Marriott, the other in the Ritz Carlton. We are still trying to check because right now we are still helping the victims,” he said.

Justin Timberlake admits that Robert Pattinson Is gorgeous and hotter than him

Hearing male celebrities speak of Robert Pattinson’s attractiveness is becoming a habit. After “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe admitted that his former co-star was clearly the hottest of the two, now it’s Justin Timberlake who bows down to the hotness of the British “Twilight” star, in a post on his Twitter page.

Granted, since Timberlake was put in the awkward position of answering a fan’s question of why he wasn’t as hot as Pattinson, it’s no wonder he took the light approach, one might as well add. For the man who brought back anything from the Michael Jackson beats and dress style into the current pop music, to changing the very concept of male role model, Justin handled the question like a pro, saying, “Because God loved him more than me.” Thus, he both offered the fan an answer to his question, while also not making this more than it was.

The same was noted in Daniel Radcliffe over the weekend. Clearly, since he and Robert starred in two “Harry Potter” films together, and they both come from the UK and are roughly about the same age, comparisons between them could not fail to appear. And they did, right before the UK release of the latest installment of the “Harry Potter” films. Again, Radcliffe too handled the topic like a gentleman, especially since this was a question that should not have even been asked in the first place, some say.

So, as we also reported on Saturday, Daniel answered that, when it came to their hotness level (if need for that be), Robert was clearly the most attractive. Radcliffe, for one, could not consider himself a heartthrob – far from that, actually – unless “girls like[d] short and nerdy,” and especially since Pattinson had everything down to perfection, including the necessary height to be a symbol for his generation.

Unfortunately, as fans must know, this kind of hype and popularity is the last thing Robert Pattinson wants, as the actor has often complained that he isn’t in the industry for the money or the media attention, but rather because he really wants to prove his worth. Whether Pattinson will manage to break free from his image as Edward in “The Twilight Saga,” fans will see in “Remember Me,” which is bound to wrap production soon.

Michael Jackson's ex-wife sued a woman for defamation

Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe on Thursday sued a woman for defamation on Thursday after news reports that claimed Rowe was willing to accept millions of dollars in exchange for giving up her custody rights to her two children with the dead pop star.

In the lawsuit, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Rowe contends that Rebecca White committed defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

White, who could not immediately be reached for comment, claimed to be a "close friend" of Rowe, the lawsuit said. The women did know each other.

The suit claimed White fabricated e-mails and other communications she said were sent to her by Rowe. In one case, White told an unspecified media outlet that Rowe had sent her an e-mail in which Rowe said she did not want the children but that it would look bad if she did not fight for their custody.

In reality, according to the lawsuit, Rowe and White never exchanged e-mails concerning Jackson, his family or their children. Additionally, Rowe has not e-mailed White since Jackson died last month, it added.

Rowe's attorney was not available for comment. It was not clear how much the lawsuit sought in damages.

Rowe was expected to attend a custody hearing concerning Jackson's three children on Monday. She is the mother of Prince Michael, 12, and daughter Paris, 11. Seven-year-old Prince Michael II, better known as "Blanket," was born to an unknown surrogate. Rowe was not mentioned in Jackson's will, which named his mother, Katherine Jackson, as their guardian.
